Life is not always a bed of roses. Everyone has their own problems as these are inevitable. And while we experience these difficulties in life, we also have to strongly deal with it in order for us to survive. We have to fight against all odds.
And if at this time you feel like life’s troubles are bringing you down, learn from the inspiring story of this teeny-weeny ‘farm pig’ who has already beaten the odds not just once but twice despite his size.
Meet Leon Trotsky, a three-week-old piglet who at his early age and very small size is experiencing a great misfortune. He was badly injured by an accident caused by his mom (who had an injury herself) which claimed the life of his two siblings.
It was known that the mishap left poor little Leon with his right hind femur both broken and dislocated, and an injured hock and ligament damage on the left side.
But thanks to the kindhearted people (and animals) at Edgar’s Mission in Victoria who came up with a solution for the tiny piglet.
He was provided his very own custom set of wheels to help him get around for the meantime.
Little Leon proved way too small for the tiniest of carts that have taken the pressure off his harmed limbs.
And because of his midget size, it’s never gonna be easy. He needs his bones to grow more before he undergoes a surgery that would properly fix his injuries.
For now, Leon is freely wandering around the farm…
Comfortably strolling every side of the place…
Making friends with mother hen…
And building connection with a sheep.
