Free-solo climbing is the most dangerous sport I’ve ever known. Imagine climbing thousands of feet rock walls without a rope or any protective gear? Gosh! How can anyone do this?
Alex Honnold, 28, is an American free-solo rock climber who challenges death in his adventures.
He’s the most accomplished and ambitious athlete in the world, EVER!
Without the help of ropes, harnesses and other protective gear, he ascends through these rock walls.
He relies only on his physical strength, climbing ability, bag of chalk to dry his sweating hands, and psychological fortitude to avoid a fatal fall from just one wrong move.
With his superhuman agility and impressive upper body strength, Alex has already been hailed the best climber of his generation.
He has already scaled the sheer face of Sentinel in Yosemite National Park.
Alex has also build his name by being on the cover of National Geographic.
And was on the recent nationwide ad campaign of The North Face.
Alex feels that what he’s been and will be doing is worth the risk.
