These Women Had One Thing In Common. Know What They’ve Done For Each Other and You’ll Be Moved!

To be given a second chance in life is something we can never thank you enough. We make the most if it for us to be worthy of that favor.

Susan Vieira, 64, is one of those whose life has been extended through the heart of another and she wants to fulfill her young donor’s dreams.

In September 2013, 21-year-old nursing student Kristina Chesterman died after she was hit by a drunk driver while she was riding home on her bike.

But then Kristina’s legacy continued to live on when she opted to be an organ donor. Because of that choice, at least five people were given a second chance at life – and one of them is Susan who received Kristina’s heart.

With an overwhelming gratitude, Susan found Kristina’s family on Facebook and promised them she would do everything she can to complete the bucket her selfless donor’s bucket list which the young woman made when she was still alive.

According to her mother, Kristina “wanted to fly a plane, she wanted to travel extensively and she wanted to ride a camel.” Also included in her list is running through a poppy field and riding in a hot-air balloon.

Though still in recovery, Susan Vieira is eager to start on with the challenge, confident enough that Kristina will be with her all the way. “Kristina’s waiting there to advise.”
