Some kind of Photographer-Chemist-Florist? I found one! It’s Mo Devlin, a photographer based in Dallas, Pennsylvania, who started as a photojournalist in 1973 for the U.S. Army. Devlin captured flowers in an unusual but unique way… floral frostbite or shall I say frozen flowers!
Quite impossible, isn’t it? According to some reports, Devlin perfectly covered the flowers with ice without destroying the colorful and romantic life it has. It has still the complete details that he made it unmistakable that they are flowers.
“Every time I take a container out of the freezer I hold my breath and cross my fingers hoping that the flower froze just right, giving me something a little special”, Devlin said.
“You have to be part photographer, part chemist and also a bit of a florist”, he added.
Here are the floral frostbite Devlin possibly made!
