Bessans is a small village in the outskirts of France where mountains surround and snow would always fall. But despite being too far from the mainland, Bessans is a beautiful place.
But as for location, behind its beauty is a risk that villagers always anticipate during winter especially when layers of snow would cover the mountains.
Caught in the video below, a large avalanche occurred and get too close for comfort for this small commune.
But as everyone hoped and anticipated, the avalanche just stayed on the limit close to the neighborhood. This is oddly stunning though.
