Wearing Computer is a Crazy Thing. Of Course. But Let’s Take a Look With This First Wearable Computer.

Imagine yourselves wearing a computer in your body. Can You? Well that is one of the weirdest things I can do in my life but now I can imagine doing it. It’s not the typical computers that you think with flat monitor, CPU, Keyboard, Mouse, Speakers and etc. It is just simply a ring. Yes a ring. Ring? with monitor, keyboard, CPU, Mouse, speakers, etc?. No. It is an Abacus ring.

Well.. you can not use the abacus to surf the internet and open your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc but for your information the Abacus is the first computer.

Let’s go back to the 17th century, in the Qing Dynasty Era, one of the pioneering Chinese designers made an abacus ring. A functioning Abacus ring. It is 1.2 cm long, 0.7cm wide with the diameter of less than 1mm that can fit to your finger. Want that as an engagement ring?

The abacus ring has seven rods and with seven beads on each rod but you cannot simply move the beads with your fingers alone, you need a little tiny stick or pins to move it. Despite of the small size, it is still usable for traders who need quick calculations.
