A renown wine farm from South Africa called Vergenoegd Wine Estate has drastically eliminated the use of pesticides in their grape cultivation and wine production process and thanks to these 800 Indian Runner ducks that twice a day left the tree to circulate in the vineyard.
With their long “upright neck,” these Indian runner ducks are able to find and consume a lot of insects that populate the vineyard and to also fertilize the soil at the same time. they have also become a tourist attraction.
