Like other wild animals, polar bears are said to be dangerous near humans. Since these animals also feed themselves on meat, they can be scary at times especially when they’re hungry. Polar bears, like brown bears, have numerous records for killing humans and that fact alone can trigger us to be careful enough.
But what would you do if a polar bear suddenly exists on the street roaming around? Would you still stay calm? Or would you rather run for your life? As part of a PR stunt for new Sky Atlantic TV show Fortitude, 9 Hollywood prop specialists decided to make a replica of a polar bear to roam around the street of London.
The polar bear actually took six weeks and 60 types of material to produce, including 90 square feet of sheet fur. Fortunately, this polar bear Is just animated and was operated by two puppeteers, Tom Wilton and Derek Arnold, who worked together on the West End show War Horse.
It’s quite amazing to see wild animals on the street and does nothing but makes our face put some smiles on it. When will animal and humans be complete as one? This one is truly a wonderful experience.
