Sometimes, kids tends to become so stubborn that it’s difficult for us to convince them to change their stand on something. But this dad learned how to outsmart his son in an effective and easy way.
A father has posted a video to YouTube which shows him and his son having an argument whether or not they will walk or take the car. Daddy wants to go on a walk, but this little boy wanted to ride the car.
When this dad prompted his son that they’ll be going, the toddler obediently walked outside and headed towards the car, but then dad told him that they’ll be walking. The boy then pulled a face and pointed to the car saying they should take a ride. That’s when they started to exchange “yeses” and “nos”.
But when dad decided to switch his answer to yes (which means they can go in the car), the strong-willed toddler quickly answered “no” totally unaware that he just agreed to walking. The father then said, “Okay no, let’s go” and the kid happily walked away from the car.
This dad had just proven that reverse psychology is such an effective trick to outsmart a stubborn kid.
