If some artists love to use their imagination through drawings or sculpting imaginary creatures, there are some who just love to fuse some imaginary objects to real things. We have seen a lot of everyday objects designed graphically, photo shopped, and in illusion, but seldom we see artworks that are altogether blended with real life things such as human.
Aakash Nihalani has some unique creation, using fluorescent tape to create geometric illusions with a twist- skewering people. His work, which he called ‘Landline’ features people of Brooklyn getting stabbed through the chest and stomach with geometric shapes making it more likely appear as 2D images.
Check out his masterpieces. Like what I said, they are not stabbed.
