Want to conquer your fear of heights and water all at once? Plan a trip to Singapore by 2016 and brave the uniquely-placed pool 38-story high above the ground – a place that’s going to be a paradise on Earth.
This is the “Sky Habitat”, an iconic and architecturally distinctive development right at the heart of Bishan.
It is composed of two 38-story tall towers which can accommodate over 500 apartments.
The towers are connected by three bridges; two of which are covered with trees and shrubbery.
And the third bridge and is the most glaring feature, sits on top of the structure which serves a fully functional open-air swimming pool.
The 50 meter long infinity pool will offer stunning vistas for those who would dare to enter its waters.
It also has a pool on the ground floor for those who would prefer to enjoy the waters on the safe zone.
According to Wong Heang Fine, CEO of CapitaLand Residential Singapore which is developing the site, “With Sky Habitat, we are creating a habitat for the future; a condominium that is also a house.”
Designed by Israeli-Canadian architect Moshe Safdie, the “Sky Habitat” is expected to be completed by 2016.
