This is the “Sky Habitat”, an iconic and architecturally distinctive development right at the heart of Bishan.

It is composed of two 38-story tall towers which can accommodate over 500 apartments.

The towers are connected by three bridges; two of which are covered with trees and shrubbery.

And the third bridge and is the most glaring feature, sits on top of the structure which serves a fully functional open-air swimming pool.

According to Wong Heang Fine, CEO of CapitaLand Residential Singapore which is developing the site, “With Sky Habitat, we are creating a habitat for the future; a condominium that is also a house.”

Designed by Israeli-Canadian architect Moshe Safdie, the “Sky Habitat” is expected to be completed by 2016.
