Lightning bugs, or commonly known as fireflies has their unique characteristic of producing ‘cold light’ making them glow in night emitting colors of green, pale red, and yellow. If I can remember, when I was in my childhood days, me and my sisters sometimes go to the river nearby and look for fireflies, catching them and put them in a container and watch them glow like stars. I’m just totally amazed of their uniqueness!
Vincent Brady made me like fireflies even more!
Brady, a photographer, who according to him “have found his passion in capturing the light that is hard to see and just beyond the naked eye. He have explored the macro world, experimented with long exposures, and dabbled into infrared photography as well” shot these awesome fireflies primarily over the Summer of 2013 at Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri and around his hometown of Grand Ledge, Michigan.
Brady even made a time-lapse video of the fireflies he shot that will surely take your breath away.
