These People Went Running Through The Rain.. When You’ll Know Why, Your Heart Might Break. I’m Speechless.

We always find ourselves into situations where we worry more- problems, pain, and sorrow. It’s usual when we feel so weighed down when we’re corrupted by these things. It may be simple to overcome easily yet it crushes and burns our spirit of hope and faith.

Almost of us has problems but there’s no problem that’s too big and it’s not worth to overcome. This is the lesson clearly stated in this short sweet story entitled ‘Light Rain.’

This short clip was based on a true story written by Bob Perks and was donated to Macmillan Cancer Support, according to its description on YouTube, to help raise cancer awareness.

In the clip, a crowd of people stand under the shelter of a building, quietly waiting for the rain to pass. The silence is broken by a little girl who begs her mother to go running through the rain. Her mother, annoyed at the request and planning to stay as dry as possible, turns her down.

But what happened right after the mother heard her daughter reason, she was moved and they decided to run into the sprinkle, followed by the joyous crowd.

When the mother insists they’ll get soaked, the daughter responds, “That’s not what you said this morning.”

“This morning?” the mother asks. “When did I say we could run through the rain and not get wet?”

“Don’t you remember?” the child responds. “When you were talking to daddy about his cancer, you said ‘if we can get through this, we can get through anything.”

The message of the bright little kid simply implies that the little rain is nothing compared to some of life’s obstacles. There are people who suffer more than us yet they’re more happy and contented to whatever life brought into them. It’s a perfect way of saying that we have to let go what’s not really important (problems) and enjoy every moment we got. Somehow, somewhere, we can overcome hindrances.

Let’s run through the rain.. and if we get, well, maybe we just needed washing.” 🙂
