Imagine the world without light. That would be almost total darkness at night. Living in the night would be hard. But, thanks to Thomas Edison for the invention of the incandescent light, and to the development of LED bulbs, now we have brighter nights.

Indeed, that invention is truly remarkable up to this date. Most of us grew up using incandescent lights at home, school; everywhere. These are the ones which are usually round in shape and have warm color.

But because of continued innovation and development, CFLs (compact fluorescent lamps) and LED (light emitting diode) lights have been available.

According to Wikipedia, the average life span for the incandescent light is about 1,000 hours, the CFL is about 8,000 hours, while the LED is about 30,000+ hours. No wonder who wins in this category. But of course, you must pay the price to get what you want.

Well, everything still depends on you, the consumer, whether to buy either the mentioned bulbs. It all depends on the usage. Well, it’s hard to incubate using a normal LED light, isn’t it?

But, for general household wise, go for LEDs!
