Let’s Learn How To Make The Cheap Yet Healthy Popcorn You’ll Love To Eat Ever Movie Date At Home

I don’t know about you but eating popcorn while watching movies is one of my favorite past times. Who wouldn’t love to curl up in ac ouch holding a bowl of it? Popcorn is most-favorite partner when in watching movies in movie houses of just at home.

It’s easy to make popcorn but since we’re too much busy, we opt to buy rather than make; but recently, it was discovered that microwave popcorn is loaded with all kinds of icky chemicals and preservatives. It’s true. So what to do then? Try making your own popcorn with these easy, fun steps at your home:

Grab your bottle of kernels, now!

To enjoy your popcorn in a healthier, cheaper way, you’ll need to gather a few simple supplies: a jar of all-natural popcorn kernels, some butter, and a microwave-safe bowl and plate.

First, pour your kernels into your bowl. I didn’t measure for this batch, but I tend to use about 1/4 cup of kernels.

Next, grab your butter. I’m using 2 Tbsp. here, but you can use as much — or as little — as you prefer.

After that, place your microwave-safe plate on top of the bowl. Set the butter on top of the plate.

Set the whole caboodle in your microwave, then cook it for about 2:45 to 3 minutes (depending on your microwave’s wattage).

The plate not only allows air and heat to circulate within the bowl, but it prevents the kernels from wildly escaping.

When all your kernels are popped, carefully remove the dishes. (They’ll be pretty hot, so you might want to use oven mitts.) Your butter should be all melted, so drizzle it over your fresh popcorn.

Salt it to taste, maybe throw in a few M&Ms, and you’re ready for movie night! It’s cheap and is even healthy too!
