Experts say that blue light in electronic gadgets tells your brain to be awake because it’s not time to sleep. According to an interview by The Huffington Post with Dr. Murali Doraiswamy, Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Duke University, he said that “blue light is almost like a shot of Red Bull preventing you from sleeping”. Thus, shortening your hours of sleep.
