It can really get our attention when we hear a word magic, since we would like to see incredible and impossible tricks. Sometimes we get so curious about that magic and think about it every time. But every magician has a cheat on how they perform their magic.
We all know that a mud is form when sand is mixed at the water. The form and the texture of the sand is changed if it is mixed in water. Here is a toy called the “Magic sand” or the hydrophobic sand, it is made from sand coated with a hydrophobic compound. Looks like an ordinary powder but it’s not.
At first I thought it was just an ordinary video of any powder coloring mixed in water. But when the powder is removed out of the water it quickly turns back to its original texture and completely dry. How is that possible?!
These properties are achieved with ordinary beach sand, which contains tiny particles of pure silica, and exposing it to vapors of trimethylsilanol.
Using this magic sand, you can really fool other people by saying its really magic, but it is actually a science! This sand looks pretty cool!
