Filipino Inventors Can Make Salt Produce Electricity To Light A Lamp Up To Eight Hours…Just Mind-Blowing

In this depleting condition of the earth today due to our own abuse, we are now facing so many consequences and problems. We are lacking power supply worldwide. Most countries are still dependent to coal power that really causes bad for the environment. But, concerned people are now advocating the use of renewable sources of power.

A group of Filipino inventors led by Engr. Aisa Mijeno, developed a lamp that emits light up to 8 hours on just 1 cup of saltwater. Imagine the volume of seawater that we have on earth.

Here are some photos of the salt-powered lamp invented by Filipinos that lasts up to 8 hours with just 1 cup of saltwater. Really genius!

Really good for camping.

p2
You can actually charge your phone with this lamp.  Good for emergency purposes. Wow!

p3
You know they’re safe because the light comes from LEDs.

p4
Engr. Mijeno, together with her team, already gave light to hundreds of Filipino home from remote areas.

We hope that this project will be supported by the Philippine government and other authorities.

  1. Why in the world do people insist that the Flourescent lamp was invented by Agapito Flores?

As early as 1857, the French physicist Alexandre E. Becquerel already theorized about the building of fluorescent tubes. American, Peter Cooper Hewitt (1861-1921) patented (U.S. patent 889,692) the first mercury vapor lamp in 1901. The low pressure mercury arc lamp of Peter Cooper Hewitt is the very first prototype of today’s modern fluorescent lights.Clearly, records show that prototypes of the flourescent lamp. In 1927, Edmund Germer co-patented an experimental fluorescent lamp with Friedrich Meyer and Hans Spanner.

Agapito Flores presented his Flourescent prototype to then President M.L. Quezon in 1939. Clearly, many other inventor and their work with the Flourescent lamp easily predate the alleged invention of Agapito Flores.

And BTW, the lamp was not named after “Flores” as the urban legend goes, it was named after the phenomena of fluorescence and phosphorescence.

  2. ~~~ This is an invention that will make the world environmentally safe and fully charged with cheap energy … I observed that there are so many admirable inventors in our country which deserves funding … Since the government is only concerned of their own pockets and not the masses, I would propose TO ALL THE INVENTORS looking for proper funding to present their work to a site called : KICKSTARTER : THIS ORGANISATION HELPED INVENTORS BRING THEIR PRODUCTS TO THE INTERNATIONAL MARKET… I wish I could help you more … PLEASE SHARE THIS TO OTHER INVENTORS SO OUR PEOPLE WILL FINALLY GAIN PROGRESS THAT THE SELFISH GOVERNMENT ISN’T PROVIDING ~~~
