Wonder What It Would Feel Like Going Down The World’s Tallest Waterslide? Watch This Video!

After a number of delays, Verruckt has finally been opened on Thursday, July 10, in Kansas City. The new waterslide stands taller than the Niagara Falls with 264 steps to the top and is 168 feet 7 inches (about 51 meters) in height. It offers thrill-seekers a 17-story drop at a  60-degree angle, then swoops riders up a hill before plunging down a 60-foot drop and lands them safely in splash pool. It rider’s raft reaches a speed of about 65 mph and the entire ride could last 20-30 seconds.

Verruckt has been certified by the Guiness Book of World Records as the world’s tallest waterslide. And for us to know what it would look like to go down the tallest waterslide in the world, here’s an awesome video.

This footage was shot using Garmin VIRB which did not only capture the plunge, the intensity and the speed of the ride, but also recorded the heart rate of the one who filmed it.

This is really one hell of a ride and it looks so scary but pretty cool. You’ll have to include this on your bucket list (I just did) and don’t forget to share this with others.
