For some reason or another, there are actually places in the world that dies and are left abandoned because of they’re no longer of use. These places are morally unrestrained, leaving some of the beautiful memories it had once brought.
One man named Andre Govia, who is an urban explorer, is a fanatic of abandoned places around the world. He loves to take some tour of abandoned but spooky buildings and it happened that he discovered one abandoned mansion in Belgium.
Without hesitations, Govia grabbed his chance to capture the haunting beauty of this old mansion that has apparently lay abandoned since the early 1990s. He photographed some eerie scenes inside the mansion and entitled the photo series ‘The Round Mansion’ which obviously featured the emptiness, despair and ghostly feel of the said mansion.
In a news article from DailyMail, tenants of the said Round Mansion are long gone, but the bedrooms are still occupied by expensive furniture and ornaments. There are still personal belongings left behind in every room and you can’t imagine why owners of the mansion are in a hurry to live such place.
“This mansion was an amazing place to visit,” said Mr Govia. “It was very cold and creepy, heavy damp air and noises from the wind made it seem so chilling.”
“It just like something from an Addams family episode, the décor was a mix of grand and grandeur. I am looking into the history to see what happened to the family that once lived in this amazing mansion house,” Govia said in his statement.
