We always hear the saying “it’s the journey, not the destination”, and wherever this may be apply, it’s perfectly damn true. Like in our life, it’s always the road that we’re taking that matters and not the place we’re going. If one would like to be successful, he must first clear out the obstacles he sees in his pathway for him to enjoy the road he’s walking on.
Success can always be worthy to cherish when you have passed your road with a lot of great effort.
The same thing happens when we’re traveling to different places- we must first take the road that is free of hindrances in order for us to reach our destination place. There are probably millions of the roads in the world which passes through incredible landscapes, but there are just some of them that are truly amazing and are incredibly constructed.
I know for sure that you’ve seen many of the World’s amazing and beautiful roads, yet there are some which you probably don’t know and traveled on yet like these 20 of the World’s spectacular roads:
1. Karakorum Highway- was created in the 1960s and 70s that connects Pakistan and China.
2. Blue Ridge Parkway- stretches from North Carolina to Virginia and offers views of rugged mountains and the Appalachian Highlands.
3. Atlantic Road Norway- offers views of the Atlantic Ocean.
4. Trollstigen road, Norway- means ‘troll ladder’ which has narrow and steep winding road.
5. A82 Road, Glencoe, Scotland- offers scenic spaces and landscapes.
6. Cabot Trail, Nova Scotia- one of the best drives in Canada with winding roads and ocean with a pod of whales.
7. Interstate 70- runs through Utah and winds its way through Wolf Canyon.

10. North Yungas Road, Bolivia- one for the risk takers with steep drop offs and tight turns.
11. Col de l’Iseran, France- highest paved road in the Alps.
12. Rohtang Pass, India- known for its massive landslides that can be at times dangerous.
13. Great Ocean Road, Australia- offers whale lookouts, rain forests, and beautiful national parks.
14. Milford Road, New Zealand- winds through Fiordland National Park in the heart of the Southern Alps and stretches for an impressive 144 miles. It also leads onto one of the filming locations for the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy.
15. Scenic Byway 163- runs through the Arizona border and Monument Valley in Utah.
16. Jebel Hafeet Mountain Road, Abu Dhabi- leads to the second tallest mountain in the United Arab Emirates.
17. Overseas Highway- connecting mainland Florida with Florida Keys, and consists of 42 overseas bridges and continues for 113 miles.
18. Oberalp Pass, Switzerland- a mountain road that runs through the Swiss Alps and is 6,706 feet above sea level, and is only open in the summer.
19. Ruta 40, Argentina- a huge road that continues for more than 3,000 miles.
20. Valley of Fire, Nevada- passes through beautiful red sandstone formations. On a sunny day the stone appears as if its on fire when reflecting the sun.
