Its’ the Lenten Season once again. Time to reflect on many things in life especially, about one’s spiritual life. It is said that these were the times when Jesus Christ has suffered cruxifi3d and d!ed on the cross. This has been remembered every third week of March by Christians.

Now, here’s a short clip that will realty expresses God’s love for all. This clip was an excerpt from the full short film entitled “Most” (“The Bridge” in other countries). The story talks about a father his only son where the father was a bridge master while the son loves what his father was doing.

This is actually based on a real-life story of a man named John Griffith and his 8-year-old son where the boy fell into the gear-assembly on the drawbridge where John is operating in 1937. Now, John needs to do the greatest decision – save his child and put everyone in the incoming Memphis Express train in sure danger or pull the lever in order to save the lives of about 400 people on the train but, sacrificing the life of his beloved and only son.

What John did is unbelievable!

This can be a representation God’s great love for us all. As the John 3:16 in the Bible says,

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not per!sh, but have everlasting life.”

Also, it is said to be God’s way of showing His love for all according to the Bible.

1 John 4:9-11
“In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.”

In the Bible, it is also said that Jesus Christ is the ultimate sacrifice for the world to be saved from sure danger. During those times, in order to do a sacrifice, one must offer a “pure spotless lamb” by kill!ng it then burn!ng it.

Hebrews 10:10
“And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.”

This is the reason why Jesus Christ is often called as the “Lamb of God”. He is the Ultimate Sacrifice. And there on the cross, He d!ed. But, on the third day, He rose again.

1 Corinthians 15:4
“He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said.”

Now, did you learn something? It’s time to give time your spiritual life. God loves you so much, brother, sister. He sees you every time – when sleep, work, anytime, anywhere. He doesn’t care about your past. But, He wanted you to LIVE walking with Him.

How?

Talk to Him by prayer. Just talk to Him from the heart with all honesty.

  • Admit that you have sinned and failed God.
  • Admit that you needed Him in your life.
  • Accept Him as your personal Savior.
  • Believe that He is Lord and that He saved you from sure hel1.

Done! Welcome to eternal life! Of course, not on Earth but, with Him in heaven soon.

This is between you and God.
