This Man Was Told Not To Wear His Personalized Shirt.. But He Can’t Do It. His Reason Why Will Deeply Touch Your Soul.

There’s something owned by a person which just can’t give up on- love, hope and faith. In all of it, faith has the most crucial part for it may either break or change by the influences brought by one’s surroundings. But not all people’s faith is breakable for there some whose faith is stronger than anything this world have.

One of them is Robert Griffith III, a proud Christian who happens to be the quarterback of an NFL team who because of the injuries he suffered in the game, was unable to play again. We can sense that Robert is in pain because of his situation, and normally happens is players like him will do some press conference to talk about his future plans and is dressed with some nice suit.

But since Robert is still on injury and treatment, there’s no way he can change his t-shirt and sweat pants to a a suit, so he decided to wear a shirt that said “KNOW JESUS, KNOW PEACE” but certain letters were in different colors so that it also read “NO JESUS, NO PEACE”.

It was a very remarkable day for him- not just because press was waiting for him but when officials saw his shirt he was asked to take it off because it violated the rules. What does the rule say?

Know Jesus Know Peace

The rules states that “throughout the period on game-day that a player is visible to the stadium and television audience . . . players are prohibited from wearing, displaying, or otherwise conveying personal messages either in writing or illustration, unless such message has been approved in advance by the League office.”

Robert respectfully turned his shirt inside out in compliance, but he still keeps his Christian stance when he says, “I praise God, I thank him for everything. Purposefully, you live every day for Him, and when He gives you the opportunity to speak up for Him or to do something in His name, you do it.”

If you are inspired with Robert’s story, feel blessed to share it with your friends too! 🙂
