All of us really wanted to be successful in life. That’s why, people go to school. Education knows no age. As long as you have the desire to learn, it welcomes everyone. But, in our society, there will be circumstances that will hinder education. Just like this 97-year-old granny named Margaret Thome Bekema who stopped his high school to help her family.
But, thankfully, Margaret’s dream has come true even with her age since the Catholic Central High School in Grand Rapids, Detroit gave her an honorary diploma. In front of her friends and family, she also given a Certificate of Membership to the school’s alumni association, “The Pride”, as an alumna of 1936.
