Blame The Junk Food Diet For What These Pets Have Become But What They’ll Be After Is Interestingly Fun, Exciting!

Almost every household around the world has pets. Others consider them as part of the family and more often their masters share with them what they have – even their eating habits.

People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals (PDSA) charity has announced its annual PDSA Pet Fit Club which is now on its 8th year. The purpose of the said activity is to tackle the problem of obesity among pets.

According to a new research, junk food and fatty treats intensify obesity crisis for pets. PDSA claimed that pet owners are giving more than 10 million high-calorie foods such as take-aways, biscuits, chips and even alcohol.

About 80 percent of owners give their pets this kind of treats despite the fact that most of them know obesity reduces their pet’s lifespan. This is because of the owners’ well-intentioned but misguided attempt to make them happy’, said the charity.
