Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza, known as the phenomenal love team called “AlDub” finally makes their first kiss on live TV. During Eat Bulaga’s airing on February 25, the two, dressed in wedding clothes, did what their fans are waiting for a long time, their first kiss on-cam.
At first, it was stopped by the ever heart-stopping horn sound that freezes everything that the characters are doing in the “Kalyeserye”. The two, Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza were about to kiss when the horn repeatedly sounded to stop their attempt. But it seemed there’s nothing that ca stop them. Alden just did the first move.
This really made the fans in the studio go wild and crazy and is expected of their avid fans at home.
Thursday is the AlDub’s weeksary and just this Thursday is their 32nd.
Their kissing video really made a big noise in social media and news in the Philippines.
The phenomenal love team of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza started in an unexpected beginning. According to Director Mike Tuviera of the Eat Bulaga, no one knows that Yaya Dub (Maine Mendoza) has a crush on Alden Richards until she was seen looking cheesy on the guy on one of the episodes of the noontime show.
According to everyone in the show, these never met each other. They just do Dubsmash on a split screen during the “Juan For All [All for One]” segment. Until such time that they finally met each other in a really fantastic way in Broadway Studios. But, obstacles are given by Wally Bayola’s character, “Lola Nidora” because of strict beliefs of Filipino courting.
On their mega show on Philippine Arena, the world’s largest indoor arena, last October 24, 2015, AlDub fans occupied all the 55,000 capacity as well as the tickets. This is the “Tamang Panahon” [Right Time] for Alden and Yaya Dub to be together at last. This also made Tweeter record of the hashtag, #AlDubEBTamangPanahon for about 41 million tweets. It even broke the previous record of about 35.6 million tweets set by the World Cup’s Germany versus Brazil match in 2014.
This love team has been already commended for the lessons that people ca learn which includes waiting, true love, and other Filipino values.
