There are no parents who don’t love their kids, especially when they’re still babies. Their innocence and cuteness always makes the day. But sometimes, most parents can’t deny that fact that it’s tiring to babysit, especially when babies just cry and won’t fall asleep.
But when babies’ eyes started to close as they begin to snore softly and quietly, it’s a great relief. Parents then would take the chance and dare to take some pictures of their napping babies. Eriko Ohga, a Japanese Instagrammer did the same with a twist. She transformed her baby’s sleep from reality to fairy tales.
Eriko used Japan’s ‘nezo art’, a ‘sleep-posture art’ that involves photographing napping babies in costumes.
Eriko imitated the trend, putting up some effort in creating varied magical scenes from the use of stuffed animals, bed sheets, pillows, and anything that she can use for theme.
“I try to form a rough idea of the scene I want to create and prepare the area where my daughter would lay down before she falls asleep.” Eriko says.
“I climb up on a chair to capture the entire scene from above. I’m also extra careful not to wake the baby up with the sound of the iPhone camera,” Eriko added.
Though her daughter is unaware of what her Mother did, I believed that this little lass will be happy to see these photos when she gets older.
For now, she’s just sleeping.. wandering in her magical dreams.
