Usually, what we can see being sold around are wood carvings that depict natural forms – may it be a person, an animal, or an image. Do you know that there is a visual artist who made a difference in terms of wood carvings?
In a post in Bored Panda, an American artist named Mike Leavitt came up with very unique carvings. Being a huge fan of several movie directors and their movies, he sculpted from wood and polymer clay the faces of his favorite directors.
Those were not just ordinary sculptures. Mike merged them with their iconic characters in the movies they have made which resulted into something very unusual but look good.
