Art is everywhere. Anywhere you are right now at any time, you can be able to witness the beauty it gives on our sight. There are countless of perfect instances where art serves as a hero of appreciation and of inspiration, but seldom have we seen it in public places for many believed it’s unpleasant.
But the city of Naples, Italy disagrees with that belief and decided to renew their subway stations with the help of art. In a news written from VisualNews, there were about 4 stations which have been redesigned, and houses for about 200 works by over 100 artists and architects.
Moreover, each station has its own signature style like the one below.
This is the Metro Toledo and is one of the most stunning stations in the city. It was designed by architect Oscar Tusquets Blanca and his firm, completed in 2012 and glimmers with violet and white tiles that disappear into a vortex in the ceiling above.
And other metro stations in the city have these designs.
