In many areas in the world, when the rain starts, flood comes because of clogged waterways. There are so many high-costing solutions done, but, most of them failed. But now, a miracle could happen because a certain permeable concrete, which allows water to pass through it, is now being tested in some parking lots made by Lafarge Tarmac.
Topmix Permeable, the product’s name, is claimed to be a great solution for floods in parking areas, parks and especially, in street roads. The company also claims that the concrete can withstand heavy loads of passing cars.
Watch this video of a permeable concrete that is tested by pouring 4,000 liters of water and it seems to drink all the water as soon as it hits the ground. So amazing!
