Chimps Got To See ‘The Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’ In Theaters. Watch Their Reaction. So CUTE!

Moviegoers were surprised when two chimpanzees joined them in watching the premier of Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Myrtle Beach Safari director Dr. Bhagavan Antle decided to let the 2-year-old chimpanzees Vali and Sugriva to enjoy the theater experience at the BigD Auditorium at the Carmike Cinema. The chimps seem to be highly-evolved as they were able to buy their own tickets for the show, went to the confectionery stand and hand over their money to pay for their own snacks (popcorn and juice). After walking up the stairs, they presented their tickets to get ready for the show.

During the film, the two chimps responded just like humans; Sugriva turned away during a dramatic scene while Vali clenched his companion’s hand. They were also seen clapping for the good guys and heard barking at the bad ones.

Apparently, some viewers where a little bit concerned saying that the chimps should not watch the movie in fear that they will have the idea on how to take over the world. But Bhagavan Antle said that “real life gorilla warfare is unlikely” to happen.

What do you think? Will these chimps learn how to conquer the Earth by watching this movie?
