Penguins are one of the few species on earth which mate for life. So like humans, they also look for someone to share their whole life with until death does the parting. But of course, right before one finally says he/she found the soul-mate, there’s a need for them to fall in love by means of courtship.
If male humans would deal a woman through dates, giving of presents and endless calls and texts, male penguins does it effortlessly- meeting the female penguin simply through countless hops and turns into a melting iceberg like this one did.
Meet this male penguin we’ll dubbed as ‘Monty’ (the penguin from the John Lewis Christmas advert) who is in his plight searching for his one true love in the midst of ice in the Antarctic Peninsula.
Obviously, he’s lonely as the ice looking at every corner if his destiny’s just in reach.
He can’t help the agony of waiting for so long, so he lift his gaze to the heavens in a plea for help in his search for a mate.
Then he found a female penguin nearby, and he then started his journey. He then started running and diving across blocks of melting ice to find his mate.

And finally, they met. Introduce themselves to one another..
Shared a kiss..
And decided to go home together while Monty is guiding her the way.
It was truly a sweet moment of two penguins falling in love.. Oh, so sweet! <3
